You are invited to a special luncheon to learn about the financial and other benefits of hiring veterans, doing business with veterans, and starting a Veteran Owned Business.
The Secretary of State’s Corporations Division is dedicated to helping Oregon small businesses, startups, and entrepreneurs thrive, so we are hosting the Second Annual Business of Diversity - Veterans Luncheon. This networking and informational event will focus on issues of diversity, inclusion, entrepreneurship, government contracting, and more.
The Business of Diversity event highlights Oregon’s business environment and those who are willing to take a chance to make their dreams a reality. This year’s event is focused on the veteran entrepreneur, however, it is open to everyone. Current and former veteran entrepreneurs and mentors will be on hand to discuss their own experiences in starting a business and helping others to do the same. Whether you're a veteran, wish to do business with veterans, or would like to participate as a vendor or sponsor of a table, this event will increase awareness of opportunities after military service and in doing business with former military members.
The luncheon will be held at The Seven Feathers Casino Resort in Canyonville, Oregon on October 25, 2018 from 11:00am to 1:00pm. If you would like to make a room reservation for the night of October 25, a block of rooms has been reserved. Please contact the resort at 1-888-677-7771 and refer to the BUSINESS OF DIVERSITY event.
If you have any questions, contact Larry Morgan at 971-284-7234 or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
